What the app shows
The alloys, densities, sizes, gauges, guides, public holidays and pictures are part of the app. They are shown without any network connection and reveal nothing about you.

It covers the ERA GOLD Cut List & Offcuts app for Android and explains what happens to the information you enter in it.

What this notice covers
The notice covers the app on your phone: the metal reference data, guides, holidays and pictures it shows, the jobs, offcuts and requests you keep, and the ways the app hands a request to you to send.
It also covers the ERA GOLD website. Its cut planner and converter run in your browser and keep nothing: no cookies, no browser storage, no analytics and no outside requests, and they forget your entries when you close the page. Once the site is hosted, the hosting provider may keep ordinary access logs.

The jobs you plan
For each job the app stores its code, the name and note you give it, the date you need the metal, its state, and when you created, changed, cut and sent it.

Parts and sizes
For each part the app stores your label, the quantity, the alloy, the profile, the finished size, the length or the plate size, and any size you chose yourself. These are workshop dimensions, not personal data; do not put your customers' names or ID numbers in job names, labels or notes. The job's name and its note are copied into a request when you send one.

Your offcut rack
For each offcut the app stores its tag, alloy, profile, size, length or plate size, the bin note you type, where it came from and whether it was used. Its theoretical weight is worked out from these when shown.

Cut plans and cut records
When you mark a plan as cut, the app keeps a record of it: a summary of the bars, plates and pieces, the offcuts it used and the new ones it added, the weights and the request text as it stood then. One Undo is offered right after.

Quote requests
A request lists the job's code, name and note and the metal to ask ERA GOLD for: alloy, profile, size, bars or cut pieces, theoretical kilograms, the questions, the date you need it, the delivery zone name and your contact details. Its text is kept as it was when you confirmed that you sent it.

Your contact details
So that ERA GOLD can reply, a request can carry your name, your workshop's name, your phone and your email. You type them in Shop rules and only what you type is stored and sent.

Prices you type
If you type a price you were quoted, the app keeps it with its date and uses it to cost the job for you. It never goes into a request and never leaves your phone.

Where your data is stored
Everything you enter is stored in the app's private storage on your phone, in a database other apps cannot read.
Android backup is turned off for the app, so this data is not copied to a cloud backup or to another phone.

No account, no cloud copy
The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is synchronised and no copy exists outside your phone unless you send it.

What the app does not collect
The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.

No internet access
The app does not request the Android internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.
The guides name their sources; tapping one opens that public page in your phone's browser, which then goes online on its own.

Share, email, copy and call
Share opens the Android share sheet with the request written in. Email opens your own email app with the request and ERA GOLD's address (erazo.jonathan@gmail.com) filled in; you can change it. Copy puts the text on the clipboard, and Call opens your phone app with ERA GOLD's number filled in; the call is made only if you start it. Nothing is sent until you press send in the app you chose.
When you come back after sharing or emailing a request, the app asks whether you sent it. While it waits for your answer it keeps a temporary copy of the text; if you say no, the copy is deleted, and only a yes records the time, the channel and the text as sent. Copying is never recorded as sent.
A request you send reaches ERA GOLD S.A.S. through the channel you used. ERA GOLD S.A.S. uses it only to reply to your request; if it can supply the metal, its own quote sets the terms.

Made for workshop use
The app is made for workshops planning their own metal. It does not need anyone else's personal data and asks for none. It is not meant for children.

Your rights under Colombian law
You can edit your open jobs, duplicate or delete any job, change or remove offcuts on the rack, and change your contact details in Shop rules at any time; a job marked as cut keeps its record until you delete it. Uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone. Deleting a job does not withdraw a request you already sent.
For the personal data in a request you send, Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012, art. 8, and Decreto 1377 de 2013) lets you know, update and correct it, access it free of charge, ask for proof of the authorisation you gave, be told how it has been used, ask to delete it and revoke your authorisation (art. 8 a to f). Deletion and revocation do not apply while a legal or contractual duty requires the data to be kept (Decreto 1377 de 2013, art. 9).

Its management answers queries and claims about personal data. Make your query or claim in writing, saying who you are, what you ask and how to reply, with any document that supports it; if a claim is incomplete, ERA GOLD S.A.S. asks you within 5 working days of receiving it to complete it; if you have not completed it 2 months after that request, the claim is treated as withdrawn (Ley 1581 de 2012, art. 15). Queries are answered within 10 working days (extendable by 5) and claims within 15 working days (extendable by 8) (Ley 1581 de 2012, arts. 14 and 15; Decreto 1377 de 2013, art. 13). You can complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio after your query or claim to ERA GOLD S.A.S. has been answered or its time has run out (art. 16).
This app keeps your jobs, offcuts and requests on your phone until you delete them or uninstall the app. Personal data received by a company may be kept only as long as is reasonable and necessary for its purpose (Decreto 1377 de 2013, art. 11). ERA GOLD S.A.S. keeps a request that does not lead to a sale for up to 24 months; if a request leads to a sale, the sale records are kept for 10 years as commercial records (Ley 962 de 2005, art. 28).

Changes and contact
If the app changes how it handles data, this notice is updated in a new version of the app and on the website, with a new effective date.
