Asking ERA GOLD for metal

A request names the metal, the size, the quantity and the date. It is not an order, and the app shows no prices.

What a good request contains

A good request names the alloy and grade, the profile and size in millimetres and inches, how many bars or which cut pieces, the theoretical kilograms, the date you need it and how to reach you.

The app adds the questions that matter for your choices: whether ERA GOLD can supply the grade, which lengths it would supply, whether it cuts to length, how and when it would hand material over, any minimum order and how it would invoice.

A request is not an order and the app shows no prices. If ERA GOLD can supply the metal, it answers with its own quote. ERA GOLD S.A.S. is registered in Palermo, Huila; the app gives its phone number and does not invite visits.

If you were quoted a price, you can type it into the buy list to cost the job's metal for yourself. It stays on your phone.

Questions the app adds

  1. Does ERA GOLD S.A.S. supply this metal? If so, which grades?
  2. Which bar lengths would you supply for these sizes?
  3. Which sheet formats would you supply in these thicknesses?
  4. Do you cut to length? If so, what kerf, cut charge and minimum piece, and who keeps the remnant?
  5. Would you invoice by theoretical kilograms or by scale weight?
  6. How and where would material be handed over in your zone, and how many business days would it take?
  7. Is there a minimum order or a minimum per length?

Grade questions are added for the grades you choose, for example: Bronze bushing: SAE 660 (C93200, 8,91 g/cm³) or aluminium bronze (C95400, 7,45 g/cm³)? The kilograms change by about 16 %.

The price you were quoted

If ERA GOLD or anyone else quotes you a price per kilogram, type it into the buy list and say whether it includes IVA; the app notes the day you typed it. The app then costs the job's metal: subtotal, IVA and total, with transport as a separate line you type.

The general IVA rate is 19 % (Estatuto Tributario art. 468). Check the rate on your invoice with your accountant; the app computes no withholding.

This figure is yours alone. It is never put into the request and never leaves your phone.
