ERA GOLD · Palermo, Huila

Plan the cut.
Use your offcuts.
Ask for the rest.

A planner for your own workshop: finished parts become blanks, blanks are cut from the offcuts you already have before new bar or plate, and only the shortfall becomes a quote request to ERA GOLD.

Four steps on your own bench

  1. 01

    List the parts

Alloy, profile, finished size and how many. The app works out each blank.

  2. 02

    Plan the cut

Offcuts from your rack first, then new bar or plate, with kerf and yield.

  3. 03

    Ask for the rest

The shortfall in kilograms per alloy, with questions for ERA GOLD, by share, email or a call.

  4. 04

    Mark it as cut

Used offcuts leave the rack; leftovers worth keeping come back with a tag.

Worked example

Brass C36000, 1 in round, kerf 2 mm

The rack holds offcut R-0003 of 640 mm. The job needs 14 blanks: 8 × 180 mm and 6 × 95 mm. The offcut goes first; one new 3,66 m bar takes the rest.

R-0003 3 × 180 mm, kerf 2 mm each, short end 94 mm
New bar 1 (3,66 m) 5 × 180 mm, 6 × 95 mm, kerf 2 mm each, keeps 2168 mm as a new offcut

Leftovers are stock, not waste

When you mark a plan as cut in the app, the offcuts you used leave the rack and every leftover longer than your minimum comes back with a new tag to write on the metal. The next job draws on it first.
